Sorry about the delay again. This time I am finding position eligibility issues. I don't think you can strictly go by what it says next to the players name on yahoo. For example it says Kendry Morales is 1B/RF but he hasnt played any games at RF I believe. I looked up Yahoo's rules and it states "Players will not necessarily be eligible for all positions listed in their Player Profile (viewable by clicking on the player"s name)."

So there is my big issue, especially in the 3 OF positions. I believe there are some players in their Yahoo player profile might say RF/LF but I don't think they are actually going to qualify for both positions. If Kendry Morales does indeed qualify at RF (as his yahoo profile says) then I wouldn't have picked Ordonez.

I just think we might run into some issues with OF eligibility. Does anyone have a link that shows how many games players played at each position last year AND it breaks it down into LF/CF/RF?

Go to their yahoo profile. career stats. fielding stats. It shows appearances and starts per year for each position in the field. Their 2010 numbers will tell you their 2011 eligibility.

Couple of questions before my next pick coming up soon. What are the exact rules for player eligibility at a position? If a player played 10+ games at a position last year is he eligible for that position this year? Also, can we draft players we feel will make a major league roster this year in the major league draft. For example if Hellickson had not of been drafted in the minor league draft would he have been eligible to have been taken in the major league draft?

players must have over 50IP(pitchers) or 100AB (batters) in the major leagues to be selected in this draft, so I hope that answers your question
